The Myth of Almond

It was once a beautiful princess who told Phyllis was the daughter of a Thracian king 's, daughter fell in love with his son of Theseus Demophon . This new man found at that places since returning from Thrace . The king gave him his daughter and half his kingdom . After some time the Demophon nostalgia for his home  Athens , and asked his wife to go there for a while. She agreed with it because he promised that he would be back soon.The years passed by and the Phyllis was waiting patiently. And then he go to his ship and sailed away. The Phyllis was abandoned waiting for his chosen her heart but he did not come back .... so she died from wilting . The pity of the gods transformed her into a tree , in which an Almond and became a symbol of hope . When the Demophon wanderer, conscience smitten returned. He found the Phyllis like a naked tree without leaves , desperate hugged the tree which suddenly plymirise with flowers , showing that love can not be defeated by death .

The history of the Almond

The Almond were a new , beautiful , rosy girl.Her mother loved her very much, but feared the cold winter days to let her go forth to cool . So every winter is locked in her room .One day the North Wind went out of her window , saw her and fell in love . But how will she fall in love and boron ? Sorrowful hung around outside her window .Until one night he thought to transform into a prince . The North Wind was presented in the Almond as a handsome young man and asked her to marry immediately . She just saw him fell in love and accepted his proposal.One day , missing her mother from the palace , came running out and hugged the North.No withstood freezing and from the cold died .Since then dressed brides and accepts the touch of her beloved North wind every winter .
